The Scratching Post
Radar’s Point of View:
My Mom & October
My late mom (Marie Pavlov) came into this world 72 years ago this October (October 28, 1952 to be precise).
She set the right examples for to live by those examples.
She wasn’t just any mom who can take no for an answer.
Considering that my mom’d birthday is the same day as my sister-in-law (Valerie) is a testament of my mom’s loyalty and love.
The month of October is the tenth month of the calendar year which gives us the season of Halloween.
My Golden String Bowling!
By: MariBeth R.
I’m on the Golden String bowling team. I have some of my friends that bowl. We bowl at Camelot Lanes. We started bowling in September this yea. I bowl with a 16 lb. ball. Two of my roommates go bowling that work at Purple Cat. Sometimes I go bowling on a field trip with Purple Cat at Holiday Bowl in Struthers.
